Charlie received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and a
Masters degree in Counseling from the University of Minnesota. He is a Licensed Clinical
Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. He accepts BCBS PPO, Aetna, Cigna, Humana as well as other insurances.
Charlie
has worked extensively as a professional counselor working with
children, adolescents, families, couples and adults. The presenting
problems of his clients have been wide and diverse. Charlie concentrates on creating
a strong therapeutic bond with his clients. After developing this bond, he uses counseling techniques as needed to help and support
clients improve their lives. This is an eclectic approach with a strong focus on the
therapeutic relationship, solution focused counseling and
cognitive-behavioral therapy.
Charlie has experience working with clients who present with mood disorders, depression, family issues, stress challenges,
coping skills, relationship issues, anxiety disorders, adolescent issues, low self-esteem, parenting concerns,
attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and many more.
